First error messages, now after reinstall nothing’s happening

    what is actually displaying on your blank page, after a bunch of gibberish is

    gibberish shouldn’t be displayed (use View Source on the install.php blank page) so something is not configured correctly.

    It looks like you are on a server using cpanel? If you have Fantastico in your control panel you can do an automatic WP install that creates the database and installs the software all at once.

    if you still can’t get anywhere ask your webhost for help
