First element in a list: class="cat-post-item-first"

Hello there,

I am looking to tweak the Category Posts Widget (James Lao) so that it inserts ‘class=”first”‘ into the first <li> in a list.

I have found a similar post that adds the class to ‘cat-item’ (First element in a list: class=”cat-item-first”, but I haven’t been able to get this to work for ‘cat-post-item’.

Any ideas?
