Are you using any caching plugins? Did WordPress update? When was the last time you optimized my mysql datatabases? Have you tried *removing* cloudflare from the path to see if it’s an issue on their side?
It is not an cloudflare issue, the Joomla site is still ok.The databases seems ok.May be there has been plugin update I am not aware of. I’ll check tomorrow
I disabled all the installed plugins, but left the cloud flare ones. The problem still remains the same. First byte respons time still varies between 3 and 5 seconds.
It used to be 0,3 seconds, and I have no clue what is happening.
I am using W3 cache with the cloudflare settings, have the latest WordPress installed, database is up to date
Disable cloudflare to see what’s going on on your WP site.
I disabled cloud flare and first byte response is even longer, more than 8 seconds
Please provide a link to a page on your site where we can see this. Thanks.
Yeah, I’m seeing a 3.8 sec TTFB. Have you checked with cloudflare tech support? On your own server, see if it’s plugin or theme related. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
I disabled all plugins one by one with no results.I am using Twenty Sixteen theme, bui I did not ask cloud flare support because my joomla site on the same server works fine. That’s why I think the problem is WordPress related. What I really don’t understand, is that the problem suddenly occurred on January 17, with no WordPress or plugin update.
Thanks for trying helping met out !
