  • OK, my site is getting closer to done.

I’m trying to figure out how to do my nav section instead of using a plugin. It’s pretty easy to create some stunning menus in fireworks, however thats where my knowledge ends. I figured if I had the html, images, and js generated by fireworks in a directory, and php included the html, everything wouold work…so simple right?

But thats not cutting it. I just get my links in text, with none of the javascript or images loading. Soooo…any hints on how to get fireworks menus up on my theme? Do I need to cut certain segments of the html into my theme header, etc? I can include whatever code is necessary, I didn’t bother posting it now, I was hoping someone had a simple answer to this for me….

I don’t know a lot about coding, I just hack things together after hours on google, however the mighty google has let me down after 5 hours of searching today.

  • OK, ive put in another 4 hours on this one, I’m definitely in over my head. It seems like I’ve managed to get the javascript to load, and some images maybe….but all jacked up looking, and no correct behaviours….

ive been trying to do something similar except that i dont even need it to be a nav section. I just want a fireworks made header incorporating frames etc.

i tried splicing in the html generated from fireworkds into the php files of the header using dreamweaver, but none of it has worked and ive tried several different ways,

does anyone know how to imbed some regular html into the header space?
