Firewall lock status not changing IP ranges to blacklisted

    Hi. When I block a specific IP address, they are marked as “Blacklisted” in the 404 Event Log, but not when I blacklist a range of IP addresses.

    Example:
    – IP address: 86.101.176.225
    – Added following range to blocked list: 86.101.176.*
    – .htaccess file in WordPress directory reads: Deny from 86.101.176.0/24
    However, the word “Blacklisted” does not appear under “Locked Status” in the 404 Event Log next to the IP address 86.101.176.225
