    Hi,

I have bot coming everyday on specific page and leave the page. This activity has a very negative impact on my SEO. I would like to be able to block traffic for a specific PAGE bases on multi cumulative factor such as BOT/HUMAN (maybe specific type of BOT), COUNTRY etc.

As I understand from support this feature is not available yet, so I suggest you share here if you would like to have this feature. It would strongly improve to fight again malicious BOT.

    Thanks

    Hi @sevun

About half of all internet traffic is bot traffic so seeing a lot of bot traffic is normal.

You say that it is a “malicious” bot. Please provide a very precise and detailed description for how you know that it is a malicious bot.

You can use the Expand All results on the Tools >> Live Traffic page and use an image sharing service to provide a link of a screenshot of a visit from this bot.

You can use the Custom Pattern blocking rules:

Be very careful with the Browser User Agent rule if you are not fully sure what you are doing as you can very easily block a generic user agent and block a lot of legitimate visitors.

A bot which clic on a page and a leave. It has negativ impact on SEO

That’s why we need a tool to block only specific page/user/region and to cumulate factor will reduce the potential negative impact. Now we can block only all a country we need to be more specific.

    Hi @sevun

    Thank you for the reply.

You can use the Expand All results on the Tools >> Live Traffic page and use an image sharing service to provide a link of a screenshot of a visit from this bot.

I can then see if it is actually an unfriendly or unwanted bot and if there is a viable way that you can block it using the Custom Pattern blocking rules.
