• I had the following problem with the hoster’s (netcup) firewall and we tracked it down to slimstat. When slimstat is disabled, the problem does not appear.

Additionally to slimstat I am using a Password manager (Bitwarden). Then logging in to the wordpress site via wp-admin by selecting my account from the password manager and clicking login, seemingly nothing happend.

We found out, that the firewall of the hoster is blocking my IP. Which another IP it works.

The reason seems, that while the password manager is pasting my username (9 characters), on each “keypress” a action=slimtrack call is made to admin-ajax.php
After 8 calls, the firewall blocks my IPs.

Is it possible that slimstat puts some kind of rate limit into place to not overload the servers and triggering firewalls?

    Regards,

    Alex
