Firefox not showing maps? Chrome works
-
I’ve been trying out the free/demo version 3.12.2 of the maps on several of my pages. The maps appear just fine when viewed with Chrome. But the 5 maps don’t appear when viewed with Firefox unless I choose to view the map in full screen option. It just keeps showing “loading map – please wait…” Same with viewing the pages on MS Edge.
After doing several tests, deactivating some of the plugins, I found the plugin that affects it is “Asset Cleanup: Page Speed Builder” Version 1.3.2.7 by Gabriel Livan. The plugin is activated, but I’m not using it to manipulate any of the files with Leaflet – they are all loaded on all pages.
I have it installed in an Avada theme, using Elementor Pro page builder (not Avada’s Fusion builder/plugins)In Asset Cleanup, the only CSS/JS scripts I turn off per page/post are related to Feed Them Gallery photo gallery and Flow-Flow-Lite social media (these are on for only one page). I leave Leaflet scripts on for all pages/posts whether used or not.
Asset Cleanup used in test mode – the maps work find. Test mode turned off, and the Feed Them Gallery & Flow-Flow-Lite deactivated the maps disappear again in Firefox, but Chrome still works.
Tested Feed Them Gallery & Flow-Flow-Lite deactivated but Asset Cleanup active – maps disappear on Firefox & Edge. Reactivate them and deactivate Asset Cleanup – the maps work properly on the 3 browsers.
