Firefox not posting comments properly

  • So when a user that is not logged in posts a comment, the browser is sent to:

    http://www.domain.com/article/comment-page-1/#comment-000

    and then sent back to:

    http://www.domain.com/article/

Once this happens, if the post is held for moderation, the notice is posted (obviously dependant on the theme).

For some reason, browsers running on gecko (Firefox, Camino, etc.) are sent to:

    http://www.domain.com/article/#comment-000

and that’s it. IE and webkit posts fine. I’ve tested gecko from v1.9.0 to v1.9.2 and same behaviour. I’ve deleted the contents of my htaccess and nothing. I’ve also tested Safari running under the Firefox UA and still nothing. Windows and Mac, doesn’t matter. I have absolutely no idea what is going on, but recall this wasn’t always the case. A bug in WP v2.9.2 maybe?
