    Hi Franky,

since the last plugin update, it`s no longer possible to add or edit events in firefox. The site loads only incomplete. So I can see the hint and the buttons, but the other informations in the middle of the site are not displayed.

In IE everything is working perfect.

Seems like javascript problems. Check your browser console for javascript errors and find the plugin misbehaving.

Btw: I’m using firefox too (on linux): no issues here …

    Hi Franky,

can`t find any Javascripts in the console.

    But found the following:
    curl ‘https://public-api.wordpress.com/rest/v1.1/notifications/?http_envelope=1&fields=id%2Ctype%2Cunread%2Cbody%2Csubject%2Ctimestamp%2Cmeta%2Cnote_hash&number=10’ -H ‘Accept: application/json, text/javascript, */*; q=0.01’ -H ‘Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate, br’ -H ‘Accept-Language: de,en-US;q=0.7,en;q=0.3’ -H ‘Host: public-api.wordpress.com’ -H ‘Referer: https://public-api.wordpress.com/wp-admin/rest-proxy/’ -H ‘User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0’ -H ‘X-Requested-With: XMLHttpRequest’
    Respose:
    {“code”:403,”headers”:[{“name”:”Content-Type”,”value”:”application\/json”}],”body”:{“error”:”authorization_required”
    ,”message”:”An active access token must be used to retrieve notifications.”}}

    Could that cause the error?

I don’t know where that error is popping up on your page, but I don’t think it is related to the EME issues.
    Can you try:
    – either the dev version (tested here and works fine too)
    – or try the EME option of putting javascript in the header
    – or activate the default theme and try again …
    ?

Btw: I had one other person with a similar complaint, but in his case it as chrome on windows that had an issue. I test here with chrome, firefox, midori (on linux) and some mobile stuff on android: all work just fine …
Maybe try another browser first? It might be some CSS thing …
And also read this (older) thread that describes a similar problem with a browser: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16481019/weird-behaviour-of-jquery-ui-tabs-in-chrome-linux

    Hi Franky,

I tried out several things, but I am not able to fix it. 🙁
But Im quite sure its not an issue with your plugin. It´s because I have a second installation and this works fine with firefox, too.

So, I regret, I have to figure it out alone. 🙂
But thanks for the hint, I´ll check that out, too.

Any luck finding the problem? I marked this as solved, since it works on another setup you have, but I’m still curious …

I regret, not yet. But its okay to me to mark this thread as solved. I need some more time to investigate in this issue. If I´ll find a solution, Ill share it here if you don`t mind?

    Fixed! 🙂

    Hi Franky,

please don`t ask why, but it seems there was an issue with new version of Google Maps Plugin. After deacitvating it, refresh cache, everything worked fine. I also can acitvate it again, and still everything is working.

Can`t explain, what´s the reason for it, but it works. 🙂
