Firefox & IE(7) (3 posts)

    I added this line

    cursor:url(http://gameboyz.net/wp-content/themes/gameboyz/arrow.cur"), pointer;

    to my body in css.

    However when I view my blog in IE7, only text without hyperlinks will make the cursor appear. If the cursor hovers over nothing (no text), it will become the standard cursor.

    Anybody knows why?

    Also, the layout (advertisements div and the search box) is weird as in off when I view it in IE7. Anybody can help me isolate the problem? I scanned my CSS using the validator and it's fine, HTML turns up some weird errors which I have NO IDEA how to fix.

    The CSS can be found here: http://gameboyz.net/wp-content/themes/gameboyz/style.css

    I am not 100% sure, but I have a feeling that it is reverting back to defaults for certain element types. You could try this in your CSS, instead of declaring it in body:

    * {
    cursor:url(http://gameboyz.net/wp-content/themes/gameboyz/arrow.cur"), pointer;

    It should force it to apply to all elements - not just body.
