 * I think that notifications via Firebase are no longer working. The old API was
deprecated and has been removed, and following the documentation, I can’t get
   the server key.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ffirebase-notification%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Google announced that they are deprecating their legacy Google Firebase Cloud
Messaging APIs starting **June 20 2023**, culminating in a full removal of this
functionality after June 20 2024. Google has released a new version of this FCM
API labelled as Firebase Cloud Messaging API V1 (or HTTP v1).

 * The old API used by the plugin is no longer usable, there is no more server API
   key.

 * Yes, we are fully aware of this and will soon update our documentation and setup
   methods accordingly.
 * In the meantime, you can use “**Pushnotification.io**” by selecting it from the“**
   Push Notification Integration**” dropdown menu.

 * If you encounter any issues while setting up Pushnotification.io, please share
a screenshot or provide details so we can check further.
