 * OMG, why is it so difficult to find legitimate developers these days. 99% of 
   what I come across is a scam. I just Googled “WordPress Developers” and RFQ’d
   the first link on the page. A lady E-mails me back and says we can discuss my
   project if I call her number. When I do, an Indian guy picks up with “hello?”
   and sounds like I just woke him up, and then dismissively tells me the lady is
   gone for the day! #1 hit on Google, try it…
 * I’ve spent the last week flipping through freelancer.com and getacoder.com portfolios
   searching for just “1” developer that looks like he has above average skills 
   and haven’t found one yet.
 * I can’t even Google a decent developer.. Even the Google ads on the right side
   of the screen pull up poorly crafted “developer” sites.
 * My standards are high, but not “that” high. Where have all the decent developers
   gone?

 * when i was doing this, i contacted the developers of some of the highly rated,
   well done, plugins. most of those guys are looking for work, although a lot of
   them are busy quite often, but just an idea.
