 * Im new to WP so sorry if this is a stupid question but I recently installed MAMP
   Pro and WP on a mac as well as a theme I purchased from WP. The problem I now
   have is that while customising my theme I got a ‘Cheatin uh?’ message so I closed
   the dashboard and now I can’t find wordpress. Can someone please tell me how
   to open WordPress after it has been installed on a Mac ??

 * You should have MAMP pointed to the directory where WordPress is installed.
 * Go into MAMP and check the Apache tab under Preferences.

 * Hi Aysiu
 * When I go to [http://localhost](http://localhost) I get a message ‘Safari cannot
   connect to server.’
 * But When I go to [http://localhost:8888](http://localhost:8888) I get a message‘
   The virtual host was set up successfully.’ with details of my server name and
   document root. … But no WordPress site pop up 🙁
