# Finding category id

 * I’m using category id’s to add calendar functions to our site. But as of recently
   figuring out what the category id actually is, has become more difficult. What’s
   the best practise to find the event category id?
   (Not the WooCommerce product
   category!)

 * Thanks for your message, the issue has been fixed in the new version (5.6.0).
   Please update your event manager plugin to the latest version.
