for title & categories it automatically detects if things are missing. I am not sure what are you looking for? Can you explain in bit detail so i can help you in a better way.

I, too, am looking to figure out how to make tags a mandatory field. I found this for the name and ID of the field itself:
newtag[post_tag]:new-tag-post_tag
But it doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas, Ketan?
