• The others limit the number of folders, subfolders don’t allow you to bulk edit or use them in media popup to force you buy a pro version, which makes these lite versions unusable.
This works on the bases of categories which is native to wp and seems not to have any strang constraints, though one could wish a little more css beauty.

Thank you for your positive review and comments.

To be clear, MLA adds taxonomy (categories, tags) support as an alternative to a folder-based approach. It does not provide explicit support for folders, although it does have some features for compatibility with plugins such as Enhanced Media Library, Real Media Library and WP Media Folder.

It’s good to see you find MLA features such as Bulk Edit useful. I assume your “css beauty” remark applies to the [mla_gallery] shortcode. You can use custom style and markup templates to improve or completely replace the CSS and HTML that MLA provides by default or use the “Support for Other Gallery-generating Shortcodes” to use MLA for selecting the items to display and another plugin to compose the gallery. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
