Finally, a child theme plugin that actually keeps your custom settings!

I am using Twenty-Twenty Five as my parent theme. I tried WP Child Theme Generator and Child Theme Configurator which both promised to keep my parent theme settings, but neither actually kept very many of them and I would’ve had to re-set all my custom settings from scratch again

By contrast, this plugin worked so quickly and effectively, after I pressed the “create” button, I was directed to my home page in the editor, and I thought “Did that do anything? I didn’t have to wait very long and my site looks exactly the same.” Sure enough, a twenty-twenty-five child theme has appeared and was activated already.

All I had to do was tell the child theme which navigation menus to use manually. My old menus were still there but the spot for them was left blank. Couple of clicks and it was exactly the same.

Much better than the other two plugins I tried by a long shot!
