Filters cause site to go very slow

    Got the Pro version, seems to be working perfectly, until I put in filters, and then when I search filters the site times out and can’t get back in until about 10 or 15 minutes later. I wonder where the limitation is? I have a lot of products like 2000.

    By chance what are the minimum requirements for the Adv. Woo Search plugin?

    Also, is there a way to make filters for attributes such as sizes, or is it only specific for Categories, Tags, and Product ID’s?

    Hello,

    I’m now working on new plugin version with increased search speed.

    I have few advices for you to speed-up search.

    1. Enable ‘Cache results’ option if it is not enabled yet.
    2. Disable ‘Show categories’ and ‘Show tags’ options if you don’t need them.
    3. Disable all search sources that you don’t need from ‘Search in’ option.

    For now it is possible to filter only by category, tag or product id’s.
