 * It would be great if this plugin offers filter for (e.g. themes) to customize:
   –
   The image size used for the event, location and category images (currently the
   user has to enter the width and height in pixel, mahually). – The format (markup/
   HTML/template) to be used (e.g. by the Widget). Even better: If the theme can
   use template files for the format.

 * 1. If you’re using the placeholder “#_EVENTIMAGE{x,y}”, Then you would need to
   manually input the width + height. However, You could always override this with
   CSS also.
    – Another method is to create your own custom placeholder so you won’t

 * 2. Currently I’m confused with what you mean here, But based from what I understand.
   
   Events Manager uses template files also which is located under events-manager/

   If you want a more customized widget with custom markup, You might be able to
   do it by using shorcode and place the markup you want there.
