 * didn’t find an easy way to filter rss contents. i’m trying to filter-out excess
   tags that my plugin uses to display embedded files.

 * Me? If the plugin is creating superfluous tags I’d search in the plugin and edit
   it, rather than try to create some kind of filter to undo what the plugin does.
