Filtering by custom product attributes is a premium feature
-
I’ve just installed the plugin for evaluation. After adding a dozen different product attribtues plus a price range slider and a sales filter option, I inserted the filter widget on a store page. It turns out only the price range slider and sales filter options are displayed. None of the twelve product attribtues are displayed.
If you look at the admin page where you add each product attribute as a filter option, there’s a small section covered by an premium upgrade reminder. That premium section includes the layout display options (list, checklist, and dropdown). It would be reasonable to assume the premium plugin version lets you freely choose among the three display options, but what the upgrade reminder actually means is that product attributes won’t be displayed at all without upgrading.
How you choose to market your premium plugin is your own business, but don’t waste my time with sleazy UI and marketing tricks. Having spent 10 mins on setting up your plugin does not make me want to pay you, it just makes me want to warn people about your plugin.
