None of the filters within the Events list view in the backend are working for me.
    /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event

After select a category to filter by, I get zero results every time. There are definitely Events in the database with that category.

We have a few hundred posts and it would be great to only show those of a certain category when doing content management.

Same with existing filters like ‘Events this Month’, ‘Past Events’, ‘Future Events’, etc. Zero results every time. I have the latest version of EM and the latest version of WP.

just to narrow down the problem and help us debug the issue is it possible to try the following temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

OK I’ve switched to the Twenty Fifteen theme and now it works.

Crazy, had no idea a theme could make an impact on the backend like that.

I can contact the theme author to let him know there’s a problem, though I’ve heavily modified so it could be a code change I’ve done too.

Do you have any suggestions for what might be causing this?

it maybe the part in your theme which handles the custom post type or custom taxonomy.
