Support » Plugin: YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter » Filtered results page defaults to 2 visible filters – please help!

  • Hello!
    I hope someone can help.
We’ve inherited the above website that uses the free YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter and we’re trying to resolve the following issue. Any help, tips or code suggestions would be amazing!

No matter which drop down filter a user selects, the results page then always just shows the main New/Used and Make filters, which means they can’t then narrow down vehicles any further.

My developer has recommended potentially moving to FacetWP but I’m keen to sort the issue before just jumping into a new plugin and starting fresh, so all I want to achieve is for the sub relevant sub filters to remain no matter what search is undertaken by user.

Here are two screen grabs for ease:

    All filters visible:

Results page with only 2 filters showing no matter which filter I search by:

    Premium Yith version:
The layout of the premium version looks good so, while I’m here, if I upgrade to the premium version will it require much to replicate the filters already used on the site above? i.e. lots of work involved or should be easy (depending on legacy coding etc)?

    thanks!

    Hi there,

if there are no products for the selected filters the other filters disappear, to avoid that you can click giving as a result “no product”
