Looking at your page you have the shortcode of:
[mctagmap columns="3" width="32%" tag_count="yes" from_category="Cognomi"]
and a link on the page is:
https://famiglia-greco.eu/tag/acquasanta_terme/?mctmCatId=Cognomi&mctmTag=acquasanta_terme
That link is for the tag of acquasanta_terme
and from the category of Cognomi
is that not correct?

No. What I would like is that page https://famiglia-greco.eu/onomastica/cognomi-e-patronimici/
to show all tags present in the posts with category “Cognomi”.
“Cognomi” means “Surnames”. In the pages of my side where I talk about families I put one or more tags corresponding to the surnames (Cognomi) present in that page.
In the mentioned page, e.g. “Acquasanta_Terme” is a location and not a surname…
wait, while I was writing and looking at my page, maybe I understood. The problem is that pages containing surname-tags might contain other tags too. Because of these other tags, they are shown there.
I make a test and post again.

Yes, sorry to have posted something so stupid and wasted your time.
The plug-in works correctly: it lists ALL tags present in pages of the mentioned category (in my case “Cognomi”) and not only “surname-tags” (how could it knows that a tag is a surname or not?).
What I wanted was actually some kind of “Catogry of a Tag”, which of course is not possible.
I’ll change the tags in the corresponding pages.
Thanks.
