• Hi,

I would like to give my visitors the ability to filter through the posts on my blog by selecting one or more categories. Only posts that are in ALL of the categories selected should be shown.

An example: Let’s say I run a restaurant blog and it has 6 categories:
    Fast Food
    Casual Dining
    Fine Dining
    American Food
    Italian Food
    Mexican Food

A user can tick off Fast Food and Mexican Food and only posts that are in both of those categories will be shown, like Chiptole 🙂

Is there a plugin that can currently do this, or does anyone have an idea of the code I would need to modify to get this to work?

    Thanks,

    Kris

  • This looks like it might work:

Please let us know how or if it does work. Thanks.

To be honest, I cannot figure out what that plugin is supposed to do. I’m not sure it is designed to do what I require or not. I tried installing it to play with it, but it didn’t work (would either return an error, or go back to the main page when I clicked submit). I have contacted the programmer though to inquire.

I did find this other bit of code that is definitely designed to do what I want. However, it doesn’t quite work either. I think the problem is due to my use of pretty permalinks.
