• Hi, we have a player list we use to follow the total number of games our players have played for the club. Some players have played for other clubs in the past or have now moved on to another club where they continue to play games. The problem is, when they play a game for another club, it still increments the games played in the player list. I have tried filtering the player list for all current and past players for our teams, but this just filters the players that are displayed, it doesn’t filter the number of games played… I know that one solution is to manually adjust the table but given some players are continuing to play games we will have to constantly make manual adjustments. Is there a way to filter the games played metric so that it displays only the games played for a specific club? Cheers! (vous pouvez nous répondre en français aussi si cela vous convient mieux 🙂 )

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @parisfooty ,

Can you share a screenshot with the settings you use when you try to filter a player list based by team?

    Thanks,

    Hi Savvas,
Can’t figure out how to attach a screenshot to my message. In order to filter, all we do is select the team (in this case ‘Paris Cocks’) from the ‘team’ drop down menu option in the player list page and select ‘all’ (as opposed to current or past) from the secondary drop down menu.
The result is that all the past and current players for the club are displayed in the list (perfect) but the games played metric includes all their games played for all the clubs the player has played for.
Hope this is clear 🙂 Cheers!

    Hi @parisfooty ,

I think I got what you mean. Just give me some time to investigate it more.
In the meantime you can use online services like https://snipboard.io/ to share your screenshots 🙂

    Thanks,

Hi mate, perfect here’s the screenshot

As I said our problem is that right now we have all the games played for all the teams a player has played for. What we want is all the games played for a specific team (in this case the Paris Cocks).

    Cheers!

    Hi @parisfooty ,

The following commit will fix the issue you are countering. You can either wait for the following update (until the end of the week) of SportsPress or apply the changes directly to test it out 😉

    Hi,

It appears that the commit did not solve the issue. For example, for the player list below (games played by players who play for the team ‘Antony Blues’) – the games played by these players for other teams are still included.

It’s a team that was formed at the start of the previous season so the players should not have played more than a couple of matches, however the players who played for another club previously before joining this new club have played 30+ matches…

The outcome we are looking for is that this list displays ONLY the games played by these players for the club ‘Antony Blues’ – is there a way of doing this?

    Cheer!
