    Hi Dymskiy,

Your rating of 1 star is a bit unfair don’t you think? Is it only because there also is a premium version which cost 12 dollar (9 euro). You do realize I also have to pay my bills and rent 😉 For this low price you get some extra features such as the possibility to “filter on categories when inserting media into a post or page”. The rest of the features also work in the free version and the free version does receive regular updates.

Dimskiy, thank you for the warning. If I hadn’t seen your single one-star rating, I would install this plugin and be disappointed. The ability to filter by categories when actually using the media library, as opposed to just being able to sort media into categories that do nothing productivity wise, is the single raison d’etre of media category plugins. Without it, they are useless. Your downvote is fully justified.

I have been looking for a while for a plugin to keep all of our images and videos organized without having to pay for the Plugin, and I have to agree with Dymskiy also. Just for my companies website, we have over 3,500+ images (not including videos), and organizing them is great and everything, but, the “Filter on categories when inserting media into a post or page” is the whole reason of organizing images into Categories. NOT just to “View” the Media.

I agree with Dymskiy and Rulatir on this one.
