[Resolved] filter not excluding target

  • I updated duplicator the latest available before starting the procedure I describe here.

    I’d like to exclude cache files generated by a plugin.
    The absolute path to these files is:

    /home1/my-domain/public_html/wp-content

    In the first step of package creation, I go to ‘enable filters’
    In the ‘directories’ text field, I enter this string:
    /home1/my-domain/public_html/wp-content;

    When I move forward to scan the site, I see a warning flag related to cached data.The reports the cache path as the same path that I have attempted to filter.

    Hey Bob,

    The scan section does an exact filter on:

    public_html/wp-content/cache/

    So if that directory has data in it then the warning will show even if you apply the filter. Scan warnings are just warnings, you can still build the package. If you want the warning to go away you will need to make sure the cache directory is empty…

    Hope that helps!
