Hi @danibanani88,
Thanks for reaching out!
Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the widget you’re using in your Appearance > Widgets admin page? So we’ll have more context to assist you.
To know how to take a screenshot and paste it on this thread, you can check the Making a Screenshot guide here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/.
Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Cheers.
Hi Mirko! Thank you for your response.
okay well i just found that there are many error messages in the widget section: “Der Block „text“ ist von Fehlern betroffen und funktioniert möglicherweise nicht richtig. Bitte prüfe für weitere Details die Entwicklungswerkzeuge.”

Best Daniel
Hello Daniel,
maybe that is related? can i resolve that before i make the screenshot?
It is difficult to say if it is related at this point since we do not have enough information. But please send the information requested by Mirko so that we can better assist you.
Thanks.

Hi @danibanani88

Here is the Making a Screenshot guide again (shared above): https://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/.
A quick way is to use https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.
Hi @danibanani88
Thanks for sending the screenshot, however, what Mirko requested should be coming from Appearance > Widgets
. Please highlight as well what widget was used too.
Meanwhile, you could check the Products Categories List widget that serves the same purpose too.

Here’s the output on my site:

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for the screenshots.
I see that you’re using the Filter Products by Attribute widget:
https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-widgets/#section-6
I’ve tested this widget on a default installation of WordPress and WooCommerce with no other plugin active and the default Storefront theme. When doing so I noticed the widget is working correctly and after the attribute search results the sidebar still displays all attributes.

This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. The best way to determine this is to:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Go to your shop page and check again
If you’re not seeing the same behavior after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.
Reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, go on and reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.
You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.
If you don’t want to test on your live site, you can create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.
Hope this helps.
Hi! okay thanks a lot! I will look into it and tell you if i need any more help! Thank you guys so far!
