Filter for non-custom fields?

    I’ve attempted to use cac/column/meta/value for existing fields on the admin user list (such as author). Basically I’d like to change the author link to that of the author.php template while keeping the onhover edit button. However, after several hours digging through the code and exercising some good ‘ol google-foo. I haven’t come up with a solution that works.

    Is this possible with CAC? Or do I need to alter the wordpress code?
