Filter for inserting content before post title?

  • I’m trying to insert a text box before the title of the first post on the blog using a plugin. Because this is a publicly released plugin (Tweet This), editing the theme is not an option.

There seems to be no way to do this. The filter, the_title, is unacceptable because the title is within a link. I’m using the_content now, but it can’t do what I want. The best it can do is put the text box below the title and post date.

Here is a picture of what I want to do:

If I wanted to insert the text box into the footer, I’d just use add_action(‘wp_footer’, my_function). But there is no wp_header function.
