Hey there,

I would like to control the notifications for the comments event type based on their status. For example: I’d like to receive notifications for all new comments except for those which are sent to trash immediately because of the disallowed keys list. Is there a way to do that or could this be a feature request?

Hello @zedpelin,

Could you provide a little more information about “the disallowed keys list”? Is that coming from another plugin?

Thanks. It’s a core function. The list is fed via /wp-admin/options-discussion.php: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_check_comment_disallowed_list/

Thank you for the clarification and the link to that function. We are already ignoring Spam comments so this sounds like something that we should also implement. I’ve created a ticket for this on our GitHub repository.
