Just to be sure – MD definitely isn’t associated with both regions?
you can try something like [events_list region=”TX” country=”US”] – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/shortcodes/
Hi caimin_nwl,
Not that I’m aware of. The TX event is only using a location created from an address in TX…no tags, categories, content etc…
I don’t have a default location setup in settings either.
So, I can’t figure out why MD is showing up with every region whether it’s in MD or not?
Thanks!
try this shortcode
[events_list state=”MD”]
EM pulls information from all your locations e.g. in region Central Texas, and outputs the unique states into the dropdown.
Thanks for your help, but I’m not trying to list events. I was trying to figure out the search functionality, how the states were being populated by the region selection.
How I fixed it:
I updated the plugin from 5.4.1 to 5.4.4.
In Events settings -> formatting ->Search Form, I checked yes to show countries and towns (prev checked no).
Then in css, I added display none on the countries and towns selections since I don’t want to show those options.
So, I don’t know if countries need to be checked yes for the correct population of states or what? It seemed to fix my problem.
Thanks for responding!
sorry, I meant that shortcode for you to spot the locations with the erronous state, I’m thinking you had a location with MD as state and Central Texas as the region.
