    Hi to everybody!

I need to filter my map by location (region, district, town). as I understand it (
happy to be proved wrong), until now there is no built-in function to make this, also in the PRO version.

Someone had similar problem and resolved it?

I thought to create a dummy layer without assigned markers (or with all of them, is the same), show it on a page, get the value of three select fields (region, district, town) with jquery, add (or delete) programmatically the markers on the layer. After that reload only the map <div> in order to update it.

I cannot do this because the <div> container of the map always change the id… Is that normal?

    Thank you for any help!

  • I’ve partially resolved…

I’ve added a div that contains the shortcode of the layer and now the layer is updated, the markers under the map are updated according to the choices.

But now the https://www.mapsmarker.com/faqs/i-only-get-loading-map-please-wait-and-no-map/ error occours…

    Thanks for the help!

    Hi calello,

support for multi-layer-map filtering is currently under development for pro v2.7 and will be available within a few weeks.

“The <div> container of the map always change the id” – yes, this is intentional and needed due to some compatibility reasons. Please be aware that the pro version also adds several classes to the map container, which could be used for selecting a specific map, e.g. for layer map ID 1 the following classes are added: class=”mapsmarker layermap layer-1″
regarding your error: can you please also post a link to your map so that I can have a look?

    Good news!!! (I’ve got a PRO license…)

can you please also post a link to your map so that I can have a look?

No, unfortunately I cannot, it is on a private development site… I will try with the class that you indicate me!

    Thank you!

    you´re welcome!

One request for the next ticket: please use the helpdesk at https://www.mapsmarker.com/helpdesk for pro support, as giving pro support on wordpress.org is actually against the forum rules…
