I love CPT UI. It couldn’t have been easier to add a new taxonomy to a custom post type. In my case, I created a hierarchical categories taxonomy to use with the WP Document Revisions plugin’s document post type. The WP Document Revisions plugin uses the standard WordPress /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=document page to display a list of documents.

My question is: is there a way to add the new CPT UI taxonomy that I created to the standard WordPress /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=document page’s posts-filter form so that I can filter the documents list by the CPT UI taxonomy?

    Thanks for the great plugin.

Are you referring to the type of filter/dropdown stuff shown in this area of the WP admin? https://cloudup.com/cwYnG-1vRBD

If yes, I’m sure there is a way somehow, but it’s not something we have integrated into the plugin itself. If I’m not quite accurate with what you’re referring to, let me know and include some more info and I’ll answer the best I can.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, that is exactly what I’m talking about. Guess I’ll have to search for alternatives. Thanks again.

You can still use CPTUI for the registering of the post types/taxonomies, but extra work/code is going to be needed to get the integration in place in those areas. Just some food for thought 😀

Regardless, hope you get everything you need done, achieved.
