Filter by Both Product Category and Product Type

    Hello!

    I’m trying to export a very specific group of products from my site, so I’m trying to filter through both Product Category (to export 1 specific category) and Product Type (to show each variation of each product exported) but it keeps throwing the following error:

    No export entries were found, please try again with different export filters.

    Is there a way around this?

    WooCommerce Version: 3.2.6
    Store Exporter Deluxe Version: 2.1.10

    Hi @sjrinehart, you’re right, multiple Filters can result in some strange export results, this is due to the Category filter assuming it’s searching the Post Type ‘product’ while the Type filter restricts results to the Post Type ‘variation’.

    I’ll add in a conditional check that if only a single Type filter is selected then to search the Parent Post’s (the Variable Product) Categories and get this included in the next minor release 🙂

    And I just wanted to be clear about what I’m hoping to accomplish:

    Under Product Filters
    [CHECKED] Filter Products by Product Category
    – With 1 category selected

    [CHECKED] Filter Products by Product Type
    – With Variation and Variable selected

    Just checking to see if an update will be released soon to include having multiple filters selected for export:

    Under Product Filters
    [CHECKED] Filter Products by Product Category
    – With 1 category selected

    [CHECKED] Filter Products by Product Type

    Hi @sjrinehart, I’ve resolved export compatibility with WPML and have been making changes to the Product export process this week to accommodate this and other Product Filters. I’ll be pushing a minor Plugin release tomorrow 🙂

    Will that be a new update coming out? The version it says I have now is 2.1.10 and I don’t see any messages to update a new plugin.

    Edit: I looked at the original topic, get in touch via visser.com.au and we’ll get you updated to the latest Store Exporter Deluxe release which is now 2.6.

    Hi @sjrinehart, the latest release of this free export Plugin is 1.9.6. Do you have Store Exporter Deluxe installed by any chance?
