# Filter by Authors

 * Is there a way I can make a filter for authors? I have authors with some custom
   user meta and need a way to filter through them. I’ve been using this plugin 
   with great success for my custom post types in conjunction with Advanced Custom
   Fields plugin. Thanks!

 * You mean filter only for authors data, not the posts? If so, it can’t.

 * Yes I meant for the authors data itself. Do you think that might be an option
   in the future? I’m sure it would be very useful for anyone using WordPress for
   a membership site. Thanks for the prompt response.

 * No, I don’t think so. User meta are different from post meta (there are in different
   table in the database).
