Filter by attribute broken since 4.4.XX

    Recently setup a new woocommerce site for a client and everything was fine. We noticed that the filter products by attribute was no longer working properly.

    They sell clothing and have around 15 brands which we created attributes for. We added a filter by brand dropdown which now only displays 2 of the brands.

    After a couple of hours of investigation, including switching themes and disabling all other plugins, the only thing that gets this working again is turning the woocommerce version back to anything before 4.4.

    Obviously not an ideal solution – anyone had a similar experience or have some advice to get this working again with latest releases?
