Hello Support … a first time WP user and the first plugin I am trying to use is TablePress.

My question … I have a table of data in excel that I can import in.

I have 6 columns and 1000 rows of data.

Can I have more than one filter so I can filter by date and also filter by club and only show the resulting data from a specific date and club?

If I also wanted to filter down to say a members name eg by date, by club and by member is this possible?

I have searched but cannot see any demo of my requirement.

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s a bit tricky. You’d have to find a JavaScript solution based on the DataTables JS library. From what I understand, the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/ might be a good first try. Most likely, you will need a custom solution though.

    Thanks Tobias

I am completely new to WP so taking it slow and simply checking out if your Plugin will do the job. I will install the extension and then have a play and report back if any questions.

As a novice I need some link please to a basic tutorial on WP and creating a few pages to get me started before I add my data table.

Really appreciate the help and clear instructions on your site.

    Thanks

    Hi,

your best chance for getting help with basic things would be the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/
Here, in the TablePress forums, I can only really help with TablePress problems, as I simply don’t have time for anything else. I’m really sorry but hope for your understanding.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

unfortunately, as I’m not able to offer professional customization work at the moment, I can’t really promise solutions here. But please feel free to open a new thread here in the forums, and I’ll be more than happy to help!

    Regards,
    Tobias
