Filled up storage quota (?)!

  • I own a positive blog about the entertainment and pet field, http://pettelle.com.

(Please click on it to understand my problem.)

    1. I manually installed in on godaddy.com.
    2. I would say 99.9999999999 of the videos and pictures are copied and pasted into the “Embed a youtube” and “nCode setting [ie, for photos]”
    3. This week, I uploaded 12 pictures and I got this “Sorry, you have filled your storage quota (10 MB).”
    4. Godaddy.com says that I used LESS than one percent. But, wordpress says, it is filled…
    5. I can still COPY and PASTE youtube videos and pictures from other places on the web.

    Here are the problems:
    1. Why can’t I UPLOAD more pictures, while I can copy and paste videos and pictures?
    2. How can I have this issue resolved?

    Any additional suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    ~Rich

  • Query, is your site part of a multisite installation? Is the site actually hosted on GoDaddy or elsewhere?

Yep, multisite installs can have a quota.

Go to Super Admin->Options. Scroll to the bottom to adjust or disable the quota.

Rich, it IS hosted on godaddy.com… I think, Otto might have solved it… Btw, nice name, Rich… (ie, thats my name too)

Otto, thanks… I changed it to 1,000,000,000 and it worked… is there anyway I could be an infinite sign in it? Would zero shut it off completely?

There’s a checkbox there. Turn it off to disable the quota checking entirely.

I just realised what your username was… (and I’m thinking of the MU bit, rather than matching my name!)

    glad it’s now fixed 😉

I was having the same issue. Thanks for the tip.
