Filezilla got stuck uploading WordPress

    Status: Starting upload of C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\wordpress\wp-includes\js\tinymce\themes\advanced\skins\wp_theme\img\tabs.gif

    Filezilla froze after this and with only another 122 files to go.Should I get rid of this?

    Could you try restarting your computer and then trying the upload process again?

    If the issue continues, try an alternative FTP client.

    Cyberduck is a free option that is available for Windows and Mac:

    I did restart – got stuck again with 122 files to go again. What worries me is that I had WordPress uploaded before – by zipping it and extracting in Cpanel. Eventually I picked up a problem with my site – probably unrelated – and I am about to rebuild it (I am a newbie). I am worried about overlooking this or forcing WordPress onto the FTP site and there’s something not right – right at the beginning – (before I even get to mess it up)

    Thinking of downloading WordPress again – or maybe posing this problem I’m having in one of the other forums?

    If no help out there I shall try Cyberduck
