 * Hi thomstark,
 * I am having difficulty adding files to my sub directory.
 * So I have created some sub-directories that i wish to upload a bunch of .PDF
   articles for search and download.
    The file sizes are between 2.1MB and 0.6MB–
   so i don’t believe it is file size
 * And it worked previously for .DOCX file types.
 * I add files from the frontend, it appears as if the file loads (it gives a tick
   to indicate uploaded).
    But then I cannot find any of them in the directory 🙁
 * Thank you in advance,
    Linda Australia

 * Does it still work for docx files?
 * Are you a Linux, Windows or xampp server?
 * What do your fileaway and fileup shortcodes look like?

 * Thanks for getting back to me.
 * It does still work for DOCX files
 * Windows.
 * shortcode to fileup:
    [fileup base=”1″ sub=”AICWA” makedir=”true” name=”aicwa”]
 * I am using the wordpress theme “WOFFICE” which has a file away ‘content management’
   option, so I don’t actually have a shortcode for the directory. Maybe this is
   a problem?
 * Thank you,
    Linda

 * If it’s a windows server, you’re going to have issues with [fileup] unless you
   make some changes to your sourcecode. I say on the FAQ and the Plugin Requirements
   that File Up isn’t fully compatible with Windows servers.
 * See this thread for the adjustments: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/upload-problems-14/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/upload-problems-14/)

 * Thanks Thomstark. It was the fact I had [brackets] in my file name… oops!
 * However now when I create a .csv file for use of youtube videos uploaded to flightbox,
   the .csv file is uploaded to the directory and can only be downloaded, rather
   than having the videos listed in the sub-directory like your tutorial shows.
 * Would this be because of the Windows server issue?
