I am running a WordPress site (still on 4.6.2) with the most up-to-date mdocs version. Many of the files that I have uploaded in bulk that were working a few months ago now report as missing. The tool to find lost files says none are lost. Additionally, when going into the media manager, the ones reporting as missing have no file size reported when looking at the file information. I have verified however the files are in the original upload folder inside of the wp-content/uploads/mdocs folder and all have a file size there.

Any help would be welcome. I really don’t want to have to upload all of the files again and retag everything.

As an administrator can you see the reported missing documents. if so they it is probably a permission issue. The files may have been set to private making them only visible to the owner of the file and the contributors of that file.

Thank you for the reply. The files were not set to private. They just would not point to the correct file in storage. The client has since re-uploaded the files. I believe this happened after a plugin upgrade.

I’ll keep looking into this issue and let you know if I find anything that would account for the deletion of files.
