Files missing includes and inc directories

    Child Theme Configurator does not descend into theme includes because these files are not intended to be replaced by child themes. In fact, it explicitly ignores subdirectories whose names contain ‘inc’, ‘core’, ‘lang’, ‘css’, or ‘js’.

    If you need to customize functions, use the functions.php file that is created inside the child theme directory to override existing functions.
