I got same problem – all my files get lost after this update
You need to migrate all files to new version from Admin Menu >> Downloads >> Settings >> Migrate Tab
I did, it works for me. But on migrate tab there is an error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /…/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/wpdm-m2cpt.php on line 11
And I also had to change styles for download button. Now looks fine, problem is solved! Thanks for great plugin!
I did and I get the same result: There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.
I saw in another thread that it was a WP Super Cache related issue and to activate: Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)
I did and it’s not working, I even desable the plugin and get the same result
