Files backup error

    Hi, I need help. Database backup works fine but files backup does not (probably since last BackWPup update). Here is a log:

    And I tried to uninstall and install BackWPup and it still does the same error. I really don’t know where can be a problem.

    What about extract with 7zip or using Tar backup extension?

    Hi @michalcica
    I think I know where the issue comes from, tar.gz mean the folder has been archived with tar first, then the tar file created again archived using gzip compression for a smaller archive size. You can check in here: https://www.howtogeek.com/362203/what-is-a-tar.gz-file-and-how-do-i-open-it/
    So I would recommend you to use Tar instead 🙂

    With Tar format backup works fine but again there are 3 duplicated files after backup and WinRAR and 7Zip says the archive is broken. :/

    Hi, I updated BackWPup to the latest version and when I try to do file backup in ZIP format it does not work. Here is a log:

    I still think there must be a file with the same name on your server so that why zip can’t work :'(
