    Hello,

We recently installed the extension and increased our upload limit to 64MB by our server.

However, after receiving a few messages from our customers, we noticed that the files they added were not attached to the email.

Our setup should work fine for us to receive them though because we did some tests and it worked.

It would seem that as soon as the size of the files exceeds approximately 25MB the files are not attached to the email.

Could you please help us to solve this problem.

    Thank you

Hello @laurencejodoint It’s the limit of different email providers, for eg. You can’t attach files of more than 25MB in the email.

    Thank you for your reply!

As mentioned above, our problem is that when our clients send us the contact form including files that exceed more than 25MB, these are not attached to the email we receive. We see that there should be files but cannot view them.

After checking with our server, we have increased the upload limit to 128MB.
For their part, he tells us that there should be no problem with receiving emails, the files attached to the contact form should be present according to our settings.

Do you have any idea how we can fix this?

    Thank you

Hi @laurencejodoint as I mentioned previously.

Email providers like Gmail etc. stripped the attachments that are more than 25MB. Even if you increase your server’s max upload limit, the email providers doesn’t support to carry attachment of more than 25MB.

You can try our Pro feature, where your attachments will be saved on server and in the email, you will receive a link to download attachments. That feature is specifically developed to tackle large attachments. https://1.envato.market/9W6qL4

If ever the pro extension still doesn’t work, is it possible to get a refund?

At the time of the question we had not yet tested the pro extension. It works fine when we enable the link for the files.

    Thank you for your answers!

    Thanks in advance!

Hi There, I saw this thread. We are having the same issue and we haven’t bought the PRO yet. I see that @laurencejodoint mentioned that they can turn the file attachment to links without the PRO, can you please me know how can I do that?

    Thanks

Hi @queenielow It is in pro version only. Laurence mentioned that they didn’t test it before posting a comment here. And it worked once they enabled “link” feature in pro version.

Ah got it! purchasing it now.. Thanks for your quick reply.

    Hi @zluck ,

I’ve raised my ticket here https://zluck.authordesk.app/customer/tickets/49 but it hasn’t been pick up? Can you please have a look? My client is eager to get this done.

    Thanks
