• Hi,
I have a website with a secure members only section. Within that section I have a page displaying files uploaded using WP-Filebase. The contents of those files (pdf) are accessible via Google search. On clicking the returned result, the full pdf file is viewable.

How can I prevent this from happening?

    Regards,

    Ritch

Will the following placed in robots.txt exclude the uploads/filebase directory and its contents from search engines?

Placed in the robots.txt in the root directory. WPmembers is where WordPress is installed.

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /WPmembers/wp-content/uploads/filebase/

    Regards,

    Ritch
