I have File Away running on 6 different subdomain sites with no issues whatsoever. FileUp works just fine on each of them. I’d need more information from you about your setup to start to troubleshoot.
My apologies… I clearly didn’t look hard enough.
What can I provide you? I can give you administrative access to the site if you’d be willing. Just let me know where to send the credentials.
If you want you can send to fileaway.plugin@gmail.com
Sent.
Thank you in advance… I appreciate the assistance.
I haven’t received the email. Not in my spam either.
Your server uses backslashes in the rootpath. I made some modifications to my upload function, and a few other functions, that use a stripslashses function, removing that, and you’re upload works now. This is the same issue that’s discussed in the FAQ for people using Windows/IIS/xampp servers.
Outstanding, Thom… thank you so much. That really is above and beyond the call.
So if/when the plugin gets updated, am I in danger of losing your hard work? I always back up any plugin code that gets tweaked (for just such a contingency), but I wondered if you had other processes I should follow.
For clarification, the site is stood up through the Azure framework which is doubtless Windows, which means you’ve really gone the extra mile to get this working. I really appreciate it.
It’ll be a while before I have an update, because I’m swamped with work. But the next update will have a fix for Windows servers, automatically.
You’re the Man… thanks for your help and a very cool plugin.
